Our goal is to provide integrated GIS-solutions in Suriname and provide Trimble equipment for both Suriname and the Dutch Antilles.  GISsat recently launched a renewed website. Our goal is to improve our efforts to share stories, tips & tricks, data downloads, news items and other interesting stuff with our customers.
One of the new topics in this website is the implementation of a live demo of MapplateTM 1.0, a web mapping template that focuses on the integration of a solid graphical user interface in combination with GIS-services and custom GIS tools.

GIS Day 2008 : Presentations |
|
 GISday 2008 was a huge success! With over 120 attendees, representing more than 60 different companies, ministries and other organisations we filled up the CELOS-auditorium at the university of Suriname. Through presentations covering GIS-aspects in forestry, community mapping, petroleum, cadastre, agriculture, mobile mapping, telecom a broad vision was presented of the use of GIS within Suriname.

GISsat launches on-board navigation |

 GISsat recently launched WorldNav 1.0, the first on-board navigation solution for Suriname, a product developed in cooperation with RichWind Investment. Covering the entire street network of Suriname the on-board navigation unit is the ideal tool for navigation in the field.
