Training
“ArcGIS - ArcView 8.1”
ArcView 8.1 is a desktop GIS-software that is
developped to provide high end GIS-functionality on the Desktop
Computer. The new data-model of ArcView provides the
functionality to store geographical features in any RDBMS,
creating a GeoDataBase that can be accessed through standard
RDBMS clients or through a number of GIS-clients. A set of
geocoding tools now makes it possible to perform professional
geocoding operations. ArcView operates through 3 integrated
desktop applications: ArcMap, ArcCatalog, en ArcToolbox.
ArcMap organizes the data display, spatial- and attribute
queries.
ArcCatalog
provides geografical and tabular data management, data-setup and
data-organisation.
ArcToolbox brings dataconversion capacity to the same working
environment
Using these three applications, any GIS-assignement can be
performed, digital maps can be generated, geographical analysis
can be done and complex geoprocessing operations can be
completed. The training focuses on the theoretical aspecs of the
software combined with a set of hands-on exercises.
Duration: 5 days

Training
“ArcGIS - ArcEditor”
ArcEditor combines de complete functionality of
ArcView 8.1 with the capacity of setting up a geodatabase.
ArcEditor is the ideal tool for building digital geographical
datasets that can be used in a multi-user RDBMS environment.
ArcEditor is compatibel with all common GIS file formats, both
raster- and vector data. .
The training focuses on the theoretical aspecs of the software
combined with a set of hands-on exercises.
Duration: 5 days

Training
“ArcGIS - Spatial Analyst Extension”
ArcGIS Spatial Analyst provides a set powerful tools
to perform spatial modeling and raster analysis. With Spatial
Analysis
– cell-based rasterdata can be compiled, analized and
visualized.
– raster/vector analisys can be performed
– Information-Extraction can be done
Data-extraction in cell based raster data can be combined with
traditional vector( through a set of several data-layers
Cell-based rasterdata worden geintegreerd met traditionele
vectordata. The training focuses on the theoretical aspecs of
the software combined with a set of hands-on exercises.
Duration: 3 days

Training
“ArcGIS - Geostatistical Analyst Extension”
ArcGIS Geostatistical Analyst,an ArcGIS extension, is
a professional tool for spatial data-exploration and for terrain
modeling, using sophisticated technologies. With Geostatistical
Analyst users can visualize terrain surfaces using field survey.
ArcGIS Geostatistical Analyst provides a set tools to conduct
climatological simulations, environmental impact studies or
probability studies of geophysical elements, etc. in an easy to
use Windows environment. The training focuses on the theoretical
aspecs of the software combined with a set of hands-on
exercises.
